Fiete Stolte is a Berlin born artist that can be desribed as a conceptual sculptor. His work varies from sensitive interventions within the course of time to manifestations in various materials and media. The structure of a week of 8 days and the resulting detachment from sunlight are the framework for observations and traces in every day life. In the suspense of day and night, visiblity and invisibility or presence and absence, the artist creates different works that make the observer the center of his own contemplation.
Fiete invited us to his atelier in Berlin. It is a studio house beautifully surrounded by Rehberge park at Plötzensee.
